Eventually, someone at Adobe might approve my earlier post and you will see all the links I suggested earlier. There is less messing about with alternative phonetic spellings to get it to sound halfway decent and you don’t need your own recording studio to use your own voice (I have too many other things to prepare to worry about narration). Their product is the next best thing to hiring a voice actor to record narration for you. If you are unsatisfied with the Neospeech voices included with Captivate as you mentioned, perform a google search for Well Said Labs. If you have an account with Amazon you already have access to this text to speech alternative. If you installed server and voice, make a copy of the verification.txt’ file and place the verification.txt files in the both verify directory (for server and voice). You can also consider an alternative like Amazon Polly. If you installed multiple voices, make a copy of the verification.txt file and place the verification.txt files in the verify directory for each voice. They can sell you additional voices but they will run you anywhere from $1000 USD to $1300 USD depending on your use case. These are the folks that created the voices in Adobe Captivate. In the meantime I can give you part of my previous answer without the links. I posted another answer that has links to where you can get additional information but it’s stuck awaiting moderation.
